LUMINA

LUMINA

An undisputed emblem of elegance and functionality, the Daphine expresses the essence of Lumina. The design emerged in 1975, at a small workshop in Sedriano (in the Metropolitan City of Milan), through the skilful hands of Tommaso Cimini. It fulfils the designer’s aesthetic vision: “Lots of light, not much lamp.”

The Daphine clearly deserves its status as a "lighting design icon”. Through the years, it has appeared in the collections of the world’s greatest contemporary art and design museums, including the Brooklyn Museum of New York City, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs of Paris, the Neue Sammlung of Munich, and the Triennale of Milan.
The Daphine Terra is often used as a reading light, but it is also perfect as a source of ambient lighting.

- Powerful lighting
- Extremely high colour quality
- Low working temperature for reduced energy consumption
- This LED version – 3,000K or 2,700K (warm white) – may be regulated at double light intensity or dimmed.
